Living Frontiers

Living Frontiers is a new system of dynamically sized content that is ever expanding.
Essentially, the middle zones (Jamtland/Pennine/Breifine) are the core that support 1-8 players with various encounters/tasks that will scale up/down depending on the population.
The adjacent (Uppland/Sauvage/Cruachan Gorge) are the small man zones that support 1-5 players. They have additional tasks/encounters that are sized for 1-5 and follow the same pattern of dynamic sizing as the middle zones.
Here are the different encounters/tasks so far:
- King of the Hill: Only occurs occassionally, supports 1-8 players, can port from relic town, gain participation points towards RP pool reward at the end for time inside, time on flag, and kills. Team that has the most flag time at the end is rewarded with a Key of Valor that gives 200 currency + a chance at high end items.
- Darkness Falls Invasion: All raid monsters respawned and Darkness Falls becomes open to all 3 realms for 2 hours.
- Deserter camps: Kill 10 deserters for 250 rp reward and a badge of valor. 10 badge of valors can be turned in for 33 currency.
- Scout Evacuation mission: Help kill or defend a scout - Triggers AI groups to come fight. Reward is 500 rps, badge of valor, and the AI provide bounty points when killed (1/2 a player value).
- Treasure Chest Hunt: One chest up at any given time, clue given to the location in /journal. Provides 100rps, 1-3 badge of valor, and a decent chance for deserter mythirians, alchemy materials, atlantis keys, and a small chance for a Fortune Key which rewards 100 currency and a chance at high end items.
- Behemoth Bosses: One spawn every 15 minutes, Provides realm points, badge of valor and a decent chance for deserter mythirians, alchemy materials, atlantis keys, and a small chance for a Fortune Key.
